Came back to share an update with you as well as some very good news.

Today I received an E mail from a friend of mine informing me that one of my photographs
made it to the "Spotlight" slideshow at Mother Earth News Magazine.
The image is number 1 in the slideshow. Its of a clutch of Egrets sitting upon a pine bough in various attitudes.

You can click upon the numer 1 to see the image and you can also click upon the image to be taken to one of my galleries. Once there, if you want to take the time to enjoy all of my images, just click upon AYESART above the gallery.

This is about making things happen in one's life.

In these hard times of negative changes, one needs to remain very focused on the positive. One way to maintain a sense of focus is to remain centered.

Remaining centered allows one to open many doors that lead to maximum positive potential:

Changes: Look Between The Lines

Posted on Sep 16th, 2008 by ayesart : Hyper Visualism. A New Perspective-A New Genre ayesart
ayes2008photos 001

Concurrent with the weather changes and unfortunate events in Florida, (2004-2005) Louisiana's Katrina crisis, now Galveston's and Bolivar Island's current problem initiated by Eric, the storm.   Had someone read historical records they would have discovered that both islands had been wiped out in exactly the same manner during the Spanish occupation of those islands. There were once two fortresses situated on those islands along with settlements. More recent storms in those areas have brought damage as well. No one watches or listens or heeds what is in the historical records.   This region, as well as northern and southern Florida have been hit hard by hurricanes in the past. Many a Spanish treasure transport ship have gone down on these coasts because of hurricanes.   If you look closely at the devastation that was caused by Eric, you will see that the force that hit those places weren't hurricane force winds. We are looking at the results of cyclone activity. The places in Asia that were hit by cyclones show the same exact type of devastation.   Then there's the financial devastation of the current Wall Street stock market. Fingers are pointing at the Real Estate bust, but it goes much deeper than that.   Our Democracy is written so it circumvents the process of CHANGE.   Yes, here it comes....   13 Ahau. If you have been following my previous writings on the subject and saving what I have been saying all along as well as predicting what was going to happen since we first met in the early 80's. You will see and must acknowledge that all I have said has come to pass.   Unfortunately, it isn't over yet.   Right now every system that has been set up in this country is interwoven with one another.   1: The medical community      2: The Pharmacy community 3: The drug companies.   4: The FDA 5: The food industries 6: Agricultural Industry 7: The shipping Industry 8: The Mercantile of food industry, Wall Street speculation on crops, cattle, pork, corn, etc.   9: The mineral and metal industries along with steel, gold, platinum, silver....plus the Wall Street Speculators   10: Banking, investment corporations like Merryl Lynch, Real estate investments and development, money market stuff, retirement portfolios, quick money, greed, lust and enslavement of the masses.   11: The war was called to uplift the sagging economy though others would have us believe that it was called to eradicate the threat of terrorism.   12: The terrorists have used the war as a tool to destroy our economy by escalating their offensives against American occupation forces. Their terrorism chips away at the very foundation of our economy draining trillions of hard earned dollars away from our country.   Yes, change has to come and the present presidential candidates and their future vice presidents aren't going to really give us the right type of change we are needing right now. The flaw lays within trying to build upon what has been instituted from the beginning of this country's birth to the present.   Enough said.   Get your noses into those history books to see how its all going to turn out.

Ayesart At Mother Earth News

Its been quite a long time since I've written anything herein.

The reason for the long absence.....

I've been busy as always.

One of my new projects:
http://cu.motherearthnews.com/pages/gallery.php?gallery=298886&offset=0

I've uploaded some new photography at Mother Earth News online magazine.

Have a look, especially if you are into nature....You'll like the images.

Another of my projects is my ongoing DNA research by way of working upon my family tree.

That project has yielded 13,717 individuals and well over 5,000 ancestral families.
The ancestry covers most of the continents on this planet which proves without a doubt that we are all deeply interconnected to one another via our ancestry and our mtDNA and yDNA.

Historians rarely like to admit that Spain settled America before the pilgrims did.
Saint Augustine Florida was one of their first settlements founded in 1565. That was well over 40 years before the pilgrims landed.

Then of course, there was Lief Erickson before that.

And before that were the Indigenous peoples who came just after the last ice age.

If you are into nature photography or just like to look at some quality images, follow the link above. Its there for your enjoyment. And while you are at it, browse the pages of Mother Earth News magazine. There's some good articles therein that concern our first mother.
The Earth.

To view the family tree go to: http://ayesart.tribalpages.com

Who knows, you just find that we have a common ancestor.

Genealogy

Posted on Sep 12th, 2007 by ayesart : Hyper Visualism. A New Perspective-A New Genre ayesart
Genealogy is a fine art of finding out what ancestors came before you.
Its a good way to pursue and practice the old adage of knowing thyself.

In researching one's ancestors one is doing hard detective work that takes a lot of deductive reasoning needed to tract the old folks down...

One also becomes a historian because sometimes the old folks cut a big path through history to shape economy and impact the environment in which they lived in. The old saying that warns, that the present has been shaped by the deeds within the past holds fast and true here.

One also gets to view what diseases effected the ancestors and one can adjust the lifestyle a bit to avoid them as well as change the mtDNA sequences that have a potential for diabetes, gastic distresses and diseases and yes, spiritual involution and evolution.

Have a look for yourself...
http://johnayes.tribalpages.com lists the history of Puerto Rico that includes some descendants of Columbus....(Not my tree)

http://ayesart.tribalpages.com now, that's my family tree.

As always, one learns from history the mistakes that were made therein the past....
Some of those mistakes must never happen again....You will see...provided that you are interested enough....

I also have some ins and outs on genealogy at my page at:

Enjoy.

Real Time Video of TV Interviews of John Ayes and Showcases Art

Posted on Jul 20th, 2007 by ayesart : Hyper Visualism. A New Perspective-A New Genre ayesart

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6995093165380922465

It takes a lot of dedication, love and self discipline to create a work of art.

There is no greater reward for an artist than to receive recognition for all those years spent painting and working very hard to achieve specific goals.

A lot of artists are selfish and try to keep all the "glory" to themselves.
In these videos you will see the exact opposite of the latter statement.

Hopefully this video will inspire and motivate other artists to continue their work within their
specific genre. This time, the 21st century is a good time to see goals accomplished and brought into manifestation.  It doesn't come easily though, because one still has to work hard for it.

Click on the URL above and you will be transported to where the video resides.

Love In Friendship,

John Ayes

A Behind The Scenes Look

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JU84_8Ae3XE"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JU84_8Ae3XE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

I created this new video after thinking a bit.
I was meditating on the fact that people really never get to see what goes on behind the scenes of an important photo shoot at an artist's studio.

They only get to see the final results of the process after the magazine published the article and photo.

The Photographer of the process: Carmen L. Browne

The photographer on assignment for AARP: Lourdes Delgado

The artist: John Ayes

I have also included images of a videographic cession during an exhibition at the Rosen College in Florida by Azteca TV of my artwork.

You know, I am finally realizing that my art has been photographed and videographed more than any other artist I know in Florida.

Thanks for viewing the video.

Love In Friendship,

John Ayes
