Starting Things Off With A Bang.

So,
this is a place for and about changes.
Well, the time for change is now. I'm not writing about politics, religion or environment because radical change to those entities have been happening subtly since August 16, 1987 when the first phase of 13 Ahau began.
The change I am asking you to look at is within you and your current values. Essentially, where you're at right now and where you think you're going to end up.
All I'm going to say about thirteen Ahau is that it is a part of a cycle that happens which opens the doors of opportunity for positive change to come into our personal lives and to systems we have allowed to govern us and teach us about the spirituality we are searching for. Those systems that resist this opportunity for change go through some very hard changes despite their fight and resistance against evolving. The harder they fight the harder they will eventually fall.
If you have been sitting around wondering why things have been so chaotic and accellerated around you - this is what its all about. I am not going to get into the philosophies or extensive mathematics that surround thirteen Ahau because its not my way.
If you are interested enough type it into your browser and you will be able to get into the nitty gritty of it. Be cautious, you could get lost there and lose your way if you aren't into digesting what you read.

When Cristoferin Columbo came to the Greater Antilles 13 Ahau was just coming into its cycle. My people, the Taino were the first to experience it. By the time 1516 to 1517 rolled around Cortez began his "conquest" of the Americas.
Kukulcan-Quetzalcoatl studied the calender round and he also borrowed some of it from the Mayans. He discovered that time as well as history is very cyclic. Instead of sitting on the laurels of his ancestor's discovery he rewrote the calendar to begin with his birth date to set things straight so adjustments could be made. Get my jist? It wasn't strange that he could prophesy with an uncanny certainty that he would return to end the senseless slaughter of sacrificial victims to the sun god.
That prophesy set the ancient American world on its ear. When it was finally close to its fulfillment Moctazuma was very afraid. So were my people, the Taino.
Don't get me wrong here because this isn't about Kukulcan-Quetzalcoatl either.
Its about us, you and me and what we are personally doing to create fresh new ideas to bring positive change into this the twenty first century. And this isn't about inventing or modifying a new IPOD either. We are already too steeped into technology. Nor am I saying to abandon our technology. That would be foolish.
Its about that we are all standing on the precipice of a great challenge...Thirteen Ahau is here asking, "are you ready for it? Or are you willing to fall into the mire with the rest of it?"
Change begins with us...
Time to let go of those old Aristotellian concepts...
Time to shed the skin of old ideas and mispreconceptions
To become the new gift bringers of a new age.

Are we still considering ourselves being a part of a specific race of people?
Are we identifying strongly with a political party?
Are we identifying too strongly with what we do for a living?
Then its time to look around us to see and finally realize that thirteen Ahau has been very busy at work stripping it all away from everyone.
What is it that you think that we are being shown?
I think we are being shown we are not this and that which is all on the external side of us.
We are being slammed down to finally come to grips with the simple truth that we are very much a soul. That we are connected to other souls who share this planet with us. We have been shown this over and over again throughout the millennia, some of us have learned that great lesson, others are still coming to grips with it for the first time again.
That we all are connected to a global community of souls.
